Sonia
Have you tried decreasing the size of your second picture before posting it on your blog? I did that for mine, and it worked fine.

I am glad you decided to buy a new camera, and I hope you can post any pictures you have taken using that new camera. I am sure they will have better resolutions.

It seems the second shot did not quite fit on the screen and you can't see the 4th individual I spoke of on my post. If you take a look at the picture in my complete photo 1 assignment I linked to, you'll all see what I'm talking about!

I like the composition of the first photo. It's a medium shot that gives the viewer a sense of what's going on there. Too bad the photos became blurry. I had the same experience with my camera not being so good at taking indoors shots. So I just bought a new camera too, which is on its way. But I think it will be a good investment for all of us. We might not become professional photojournalists, but it's always good to have a camera with you, just in case something happens while you are reporting and event and no other camera is out there. Overall I think photo 1 was a good opportunity for all of us to practice, sometimes with lots of obstacles, to get ready for the first Soundslide. Looking forward to see more beautiful photos of the dancers. I hope Mindy won't be too harsh on our grades for Photo1 assignment! ;)
